Mariah Carey is as known for her fluctuating weight as she is for her top notes but the star appears to have her weight under control and has shown of her massive weight loss.
The American singing sensation recently appeared at the UNICEF Ball and looked slim and healthy on the red carpet.
The 45 year old mother and singer attended the event to perform some of her top hits including “Always be my Baby” and “Hero” and many comments were made after the event about her weight loss and transformation.
The UNICEF Ball is held every two years and is a star studded event where everyone wants to look their best and Mariah Carey was certainly looking as good as she has done for many years as she graced the red carpet wearing a blue and black gown at the event held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Hollywood Take reported: “Mariah Carey’s before and after photos are incredible! Proving the weight critics and haters wrong, Carey showed off her amazing weight loss at the UNICEF Ball last night.”
Adding: “Carey is back in shape and finally feeling confident again. And she chose to celebrate in a cleavage-baring Louis Vuitton gown with silver embellishments and a black, leather bracelet at the bodice.”
When Mariah Carey first hit stardom she was known for her slim figure but over the years, and following her pregnancy to twins, we have watched as her weight has increased and dropped. It was reported that after her pregnancy «she managed to lose 70 pounds but since then it has been very up and down.
Recently Mariah Caret is reported to have lost about 45 pounds and the singer credited her portion-controlled diet and low-impact water workouts for it, says Celebrity Health and Fitness.
“Since having the babies, I realized that 90 percent of losing weight is my diet,” she said. “The whole point of this is not just like, ‘Look at me and my weight loss, I’m fantastic.’ It’s really about health.”
Mariah Carey has recently been seen with a new man in her life and it thought that her weight loss and positive body image may be linked to this new romantic interest in her life.
Whatever her secret is, Mariah Carey is looking fantastic and let’s hope she able to continue with a happy and healthy lifestyle.
